Hamilton Education Program Video Released by the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford

The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts has released a video about the Hamilton Education Program at work in Hartford, Connecticut. Filmed in the days leading up to and including the December 13, 2018, performance, the video follows the process of students engaging with Hamilton Education Program materials to research primary sources and create original pieces, from which the morning program of student work is drawn.

Bill Stevens District of Columbia History Teacher of the Year  Since 2004, 749 exemplary American history teachers from elementary, middle, and high schools in all fifty states, Department of Defense schools, Washington DC, and US territories have been named State History Teacher of the Year. National History Day engages more than half a million students around the world in historical research on a topic of their choosing. Students submit those projects at local and state/affiliate contests, with top students advancing to the national contest at the University of Maryland at College Park. The 2018–2019 theme is Triumph & Tragedy in History.
